8th Offline: Rajib's report
Dear All,
My apologies for sending out my part of the story so late in the week. Would not like to give any execuses. Just failed to write the write-up.
First thing first. I would like to thank Prakash and BQG for giving me the chance to host the quiz. Perhaps you all have no idea what it means to me. I live for this, to be honest. And to host a quiz in Bangalore and that even for the BQG, is simply have been a privilege. Thanks to all of you for making this happen.
As I dwell upon the quiz now, I feel happy that I could keep you all engrossed in the show. To admit honestly, I was apprehensive at the beginning thinking how would the questions turn
out to be. But I got more than I could ask for. With an answer rate over 70%, any quizmaster will feel delighted. I am targetting to improve that percentage by few notches next time.
I am a "quizzophillic" and suffer badly from this love.
Have skipped umpteen classes and tuitions just to attend or conduct a quiz. I assure you that any given day you want to have a quiz offline or online, just let me know. I will always be ready with one. Since Avinash has already punished me with one more quiz, I do not mind hosting two infact. SInce I am conducting 2 full fledged quizzes at IIT, I plan to run both the quizzes as it is at offline meets of BQG.
I hope you all will bear with me and give me the chance. I assure you that you will not be dissappointed. Just one wish I have, if we could have more members (non members) participating I am sure we will have more fun.
I am in Bangalore till Feb' 05 and would like to participate/host as many quizzes I can. And since I am new to the Bangalore Quizzing Scene I would be heaviliy depending on you all for
